Tiny Engineers in the making!

STEM Toddler Program

Our STEM Toddler Program is designed to build on the natural curiosity and enthusiasm that toddlers have for the world around them. By introducing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts in a fun, hands-on, and developmentally appropriate way, we foster problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking, all while encouraging exploration and discovery.

Program Overview:

Our STEM Toddler Program provides a stimulating environment where toddlers can engage in interactive activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social development. Through playful experiences, toddlers begin to make connections to basic scientific principles, technological tools, engineering concepts, and early math skills. Our approach encourages active exploration and hands-on learning, helping toddlers develop essential skills that form the foundation for future success in STEM fields.

Program Goals:

Develop fine and gross motor skills through hands-on STEM exploration. Introduce foundational STEM concepts in an engaging, play-based manner. Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and early problem-solving skills. Foster teamwork, communication, and social interaction during group activities. Nurture a love for learning and discovery, building the confidence to ask questions and explore the world.
We believe that toddlers’ innate curiosity is the perfect foundation for STEM learning. Our STEM Toddler Program creates a rich, engaging environment where children learn by doing, experimenting, and exploring—setting the stage for a lifelong love of learning, innovation, and discovery.

At Guide and Grow, we’re dedicated to helping infants build a strong foundation in STEM through meaningful, playful experiences that promote development in all areas. Our STEM Infant Program provides the ideal environment for babies to start their learning journey, laying the groundwork for lifelong curiosity and growth.

Key Areas of Focus:

Hands-On Exploration:

Toddlers love to touch, manipulate, and explore! Our STEM activities provide opportunities for them to experiment with safe, tactile materials like building blocks, sorting games, simple gears, and soft engineering kits. These activities help develop motor skills, spatial reasoning, and early problem-solving abilities.

Building and Engineering:

Through activities like stacking, sorting, and building with various materials (such as blocks, puzzles, or basic construction toys), toddlers explore the principles of engineering. These hands-on activities promote creativity, critical thinking, and understanding of shapes, sizes, balance, and structure.

Basic Scientific Inquiry:

We introduce toddlers to the world of science through simple, engaging experiments like water play, color mixing, and exploring magnets. These activities encourage toddlers to observe, predict, test, and learn cause-and-effect relationships, sparking curiosity and laying the foundation for future scientific thinking.

Mathematics and Logic:

Early math skills are nurtured through counting games, pattern recognition, sorting, and shape exploration. Toddlers are introduced to basic mathematical concepts such as numbers, shapes, sizes, and measurement. These activities also help toddlers develop early problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

Technology Exploration:

While keeping screen time minimal, we integrate age-appropriate technology tools like interactive toys, basic coding games, or sensory-rich touchscreens that engage toddlers in technology-related play. This encourages curiosity about technology and introduces the idea of how technology can help solve problems.
